SCRIPTURAL PROOF THAT CHRIST WAS NOT BORN IN DECEMBER.

A clear proof that Christ was not born in December is shown in Luke 2:8.

 (Luke 2:8 KJV) And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

 Shepherd's never kept flock in the open in the winter from October or November to the next spring.

 It was the custom to send flocks out after the Passover to stay until the first rain in October or November.

 It cannot be proved exactly when He was born.

The Bible does not contain the word "Christmas ”. It was  Emperor Constantine who ordered everyone in the Roman Empire to celebrate the Winter Solstice as Christmas beginning from 336 AD. It wasn't until it was light on Sunday that they actually discovered that He had risen, in the first visits the tomb was empty. The Bible shows that only Genesis 1:1 gives the account of the original creation. Here, God created a perfect world. However, in Genesis 1:2, something happened to the perfect earth which caused it to become formless and void. From Genesis 1:3, the Bible describes the restoration of the earth to its perfection earth. It is not describing the original creation. One of the Bible verses that is most popularly misinterpreted is Matthew chapter 24 verse 40. (Matthew 24:40 KJV) Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Many Christians believe that the one that is taken, is the one that is raptured and taken to heaven while the one that is left is the one that is left on earth to suffer tribulation.
