THE MEANING OF "THE KINGDOM OF GOD" SUFFERETH VIOLENCE"

Jesus said in Matthew 11:12, "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."

It simply means that from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of God is as though being taken by storm by those pressing to obtain a blessing and those who make forceful [violent] attempts, take the blessings.

    Is this verse the opposite of Matthew 6:6?

      No, it is not the opposite. Matthew 6:6 requires that you pray in private [secret]. You can pray in private and still make your prayer vehement, forceful or fervent. James 5:16 says, "...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

By revelation, we know and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Creator of heaven and earth. In other words, the Almighty God is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The question that many ask is, "if God does not have a wife, how is Jesus His Son?"  This question comes from the expectation that for one to be called a son, there must be a process of conception; i.e the process of becoming physically pregnant and child birth. WHY DID GOD REFER TO ISAAC AS ABRAHAM’S ONLY SON? WHAT HAPPENED TO ISHMAEL?

Abraham had two sons, the one by Sarah (a freewoman) and the other by Hagar (a bondwoman). However, we see in Genesis chapter 22 that in three different occasions, God referred to Isaac as the only son of Abraham, in total disregard of Ishmael as a son. WHAT DOES “BORN OF WATER AND THE SPIRIT” MEAN?

There has been a lot of debate among Christians on the meaning of Jesus' words in John 3:5 with regards to the phrase "born of water and Spirit". As a Christian, you need to first understand your position in the spiritual realm. That will tell you whether you need deliverance or not from any authority. DOES THE BIBLE STATE THAT THE WORD "LUCIFER" IS THE NAME OF THE DEVIL?

The word lucifer is used only once in the English Bible and it is in Isaiah 14:12. Isaiah 14:12: “ How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!
