I CHANGE NOT. DOES GOD REPENT OR CHANGE HIS MIND?

The bible says in Malachi 3:6 (KJV) "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." What does this statement mean? Does God repent or change His mind?

I change not could only refer to basic character and to keeping covenant, not to acts of judgment or mercy when needed. God has repented or changed His mind when it became necessary because of free moral agents revelling to the point of judgment and this was in keeping with His character.

He is absolute in holiness and justice, and is morally and divinely obligated for the good of all to judge the few or all if need be or to show mercy to one and all should they meet the conditions of mercy. God does not and cannot change His original and eternal plan and purpose, but He can and does change some ways and means of fulfilling the plan.

IS PUBLIC CONFESSION NECESSARY FOR SALVATION? IS ROMANS 10:9 THE GUIDELINE ON HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN?

Many have taught that for anyone to be born-again or inherit eternal life, confessing, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ in accordance with Romans 10:9 and believing in his heart that God raised Jesus from the dead is all that is required. (Rom 10:9-10)  “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. JESUS CALLED HIS FATHER, "MY GOD". CAN GOD HAVE GOD?

In the book of John 20:17, Jesus address His Father as "My God". Also he called Him "My God" in the book of Matthew 27:46 and Revelation 3:12. There are other Bible references where the terms, "God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ" were used. Does it mean Jesus is not the true God since he has someone he calls God? There is so much misunderstanding in the Church today regarding the gift of prophecy. Many people believe that prophecy only refers to telling something before it happens. The Bible stated in the book of Genesis chapter 1 that on the first day God said, "Let there be light and there was light". Yet in verse 16, the Bible stated that in day 4, God made two great lights which we have come to know as the sun and the moon. SCRIPTURAL PROOF THAT CHRIST WAS NOT BORN IN DECEMBER.

A clear proof that Christ was not born in December is shown in Luke 2:8. (Luke 2:8 KJV) And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. Shepherd's never kept flock in the open in the winter from October or November to the next spring. It was the custom to send flocks out after the Passover to stay until the first rain in October or November. It cannot be proved exactly when He was born.

IN WHAT SENSE IS JESUS THE SON OF GOD?

By revelation, we know and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Creator of heaven and earth. In other words, the Almighty God is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The question that many ask is, "if God does not have a wife, how is Jesus His Son?"  This question comes from the expectation that for one to be called a son, there must be a process of conception; i.e the process of becoming physically pregnant and child birth. Therefore, they say, since God has no wife, Jesus could not have been the Son of God. So we ask the question, in what sense then is Jesus the Son of God? Is He the Son of God the same way Adam was called the son of God in the book of Luke?  (Luke 3:38 KJV) Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God . MISINTERPRETED: ONE WILL BE TAKEN AND THE OTHER LEFT

One of the Bible verses that is most popularly misinterpreted is Matthew chapter 24 verse 40. (Matthew 24:40 KJV) Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Many Christians believe that the one that is taken, is the one that is raptured and taken to heaven while the one that is left is the one that is left on earth to suffer tribulation. However, a study of this verse in context shows that this verse has nothing to do with rapture or going to heaven and that the one that is "taken" is even the wicked not the righteous.
