THE BEGINNING AND THE ENDING

We read in Revelation 1:8, that the Lord is the Alpha and Omega:

(Revelation 1:8 KJV) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

King James Version (KJV) of the Bible used the phrase "the beginning and the ending" to rightly explain the meaning of "Alpha and Omega". Notice that the above verse did not say, "the beginning and the end" like other verses in the book of Revelation. Rather it says, "the beginning and the ending" to remind us that the Lord knows no beginning, nor will he have any end with respect to time (year). 

He shall continue to exist when all creatures shall cease to be.

JACOB DID NOT WAIT FOR 7 OR 14 YEARS BEFORE LEAH/ RACHEL WERE GIVEN TO HIM. HE TOOK BOTH WIVES IMMEDIATELY.

Many Christians thought that Jacob worked seven years for Laban, realized that Laban deceived him to marry Leah, and then worked seven more years before finally getting married to Rachel. However the bible shows that he took both Leah and Rachel immediately before he began serving Laban. For clarity, I advise you to read this Jacob's story in other translations of the Bible aside King James Version (KJV). Meanwhile lets look at look at some of the facts from the Bible: (Genesis 29:21 KJV) And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her. Please note that the 7 years of service required of Jacob were the total dowry and not the customary waiting period before a wife was given to the groom. In other words, Jacob took Leah after the customary waiting period which was a couple of days just like we read in vs 21. JESUS SAID YOU MUST BE “BORN FROM ABOVE” NOT "BORN AGAIN"?

The term " Born Again Christian " is used to describe anyone that has received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Saviour. One who believes in Jesus Christ and one who has been regenerated through the agent of the Holy Spirit. The phrase "born again" can be seen in John chapter 3 in King James Version (KJV) and most other English Bible Versions. (John 3:3 KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again , he cannot see the kingdom of God.  (John 3:3 CEV)  "Jesus replied, "I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God's kingdom!"  The Greek phrase is gennēthē anōthen which generally means "begotten from above" or "born from above". WHAT EXACTLY DID JESUS MEAN WHEN HE SAID, “MANY WHO ARE FIRST WILL BE LAST, AND MANY WHO ARE LAST WILL BE FIRST”?

Jesus said in Matthew 19:30, “But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first”. Thereafter He immediately gave a parable of the labourers in the vineyard in Matthew 20:1-15 and reiterated this statement in Matthew 20:16 at the end of the parable. Many Scholars have given several interpretations to the meaning of this statement. However, the most accurate interpretation should be from the parable as the parable was designed to explain it. The story is about some labourers who complain that others, who did not work as long as they, were paid an equal amount. In other words, they saw their own labour as worthy of compensation but considered their companions’ labour to be inferior and less worthy of reward. WHY IS JESUS NAMED JESUS AND NOT EMMANUEL AS PROPHESIED BY ISAIAH?

It was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14 that a virgin will give birth to a child and the child will be named Immanuel, meaning "God with us".  (Isaiah 7:14 KJV) Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Matthew in narrating the birth of Jesus stated that the prophesy in Isaiah 7:14 was fulfilled by the birth of Jesus. ( Matthew 1:21-23 KJV) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. UNDERSTANDING SPEAKING IN TONGUES.

The first occurrence of speaking in tongues in the New Testament is in Acts 2 on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2:1-6  "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language." The Greek word translated tongues literally means "languages." GOD MADE ADAM BOTH MALE AND FEMALE.

This should be obvious but it seems a lot of people are having problem with it. God made Adam male and female. In other words, when Adam was first created he was both male and female. For people that are finding it hard to accept this is what the bible says: (Genesis 1:27 KJV) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 5:2 KJV) Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam , in the day when they were created. The first scripture in using the term "them" still seem to suggest that it was talking about both Adam and Eve and not only Adam at first. However the accounts in Matthew chapter 19 and Mark chapter 10 will give more insight. WHAT DOES BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT MEAN?

The phrase “blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” is found in Matthew 12:31-32, Mark 3:28-29 and Luke 12:10. (Matthew 12:31-32 KJV) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. WHAT IS ETERNAL LIFE?

The bible defines eternal life in John 17:3 as thus: (John 17:3 KJV) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.  To know God eternally is eternal life. To know him for a time like Adam is temporary life Eternal life is not prolonged existence or eternal continuance of being, for all the wicked have this and will be punished in conscious existence forever. (Matthew 25:41 KJV) Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: It is not merely eternal existence but eternal knowing of God.
