THE BEGINNING AND THE ENDING

We read in Revelation 1:8, that the Lord is the Alpha and Omega:

(Revelation 1:8 KJV) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

King James Version (KJV) of the Bible used the phrase "the beginning and the ending" to rightly explain the meaning of "Alpha and Omega". Notice that the above verse did not say, "the beginning and the end" like other verses in the book of Revelation. Rather it says, "the beginning and the ending" to remind us that the Lord knows no beginning, nor will he have any end with respect to time (year). 

He shall continue to exist when all creatures shall cease to be.

Many Christians thought that Jacob worked seven years for Laban, realized that Laban deceived him to marry Leah, and then worked seven more years before finally getting married to Rachel. However the bible shows that he took both Leah and Rachel immediately before he began serving Laban. DID GOD REGRET CREATING MAN IN GENESIS 6:6?

Genesis 6:6 is one of those difficult verses in the bible of which different bible commentators have varied interpretations. The verse seems to suggest that God regretted His action of creating man on earth. Most of us are very familiar with the story in Matthew chapter 16 where Jesus said that Simon, who was one of His disciples, is Peter (which means rock). The question is, why did Jesus call him Rock?
