HOW TO KNOW WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GUIDING YOU AND WHEN YOUR OWN HUMAN SPIRIT IS GUIDING YOU.

Your human spirit guides you by conviction, but the Holy Spirit guides you by revelation and through spiritual gifts to make you walk in God's perfect will for your life.

Conviction is about being strong in all things that is within truth and that is right to do in all godliness that you have known and that you have built into your life through faith in God, through Scripture, and by good parental upbringings. Convictions is what you know for sure that makes your life solid in the world and conviction gives you the energy and lifestyle that pulls and keeps the kind of people and things to you that is in your life now. 

But the Holy Spirit guides you around specifics and what you should be doing with your life and guilds you around the steps that you should be taking in life both per-time and in the long-run.

The culture of your life style and conviction could attract more than one options of directions for you to take and of what you can do with our life. But the Holy Spirit reveals what has the potential for your peace, protection and your overall purpose in God and life.

So, by conviction something might LOOK-LIKE it and yet you might need revelations from the Lord about it for clearance whether or not to go that route with your life and (when around relationship) whether or not to marry a person. Because everything might look and read right and convincing yet it might not be what is fitting to God's overall purpose for your life or what God has in mind for you. The Holy Spirit as Jesus said, will, draw from the mind of God to guide us to walk in the Christlike mind, which is God's will for us to be walking with (John 16:1415).

So, for a christian, your human spirit can guild you around proven truth and what is clear according to Scriptures, which is still general for every believer, but the Holy Spirit guilds you around what is specific FOR YOU, around what belongs to just you, your future, your peace and God's purpose for/plan with your life, even if (at times) it is not obvious to see it in the present. Meaning that, you can get direction/clearance for a thing from God before you are convinced about it in your spirit, and all you need here is obedience and faith, because your understanding is unfruitful; and you can be convinced about a thing because your heart is open to it and your spirit holds tightly to it but might still need clearance for it from the Holy Spirit whether this is God's will for you in order to go ahead with it. Both your spirit and the Holy Spirit guides around truth. But the difference at times is: The truth of your human spirit builds your community, while the truth of the Holy Spirit guides your purpose, your destiny and your spiritual heritage.

And also, the Holy Spirit with a holistic eternal knowledge (Omniscience) can reveal to you or guide you around what is the truth about your life and future, even things that is not fully yet in their time. And it will be your responsibility to feed yourself spiritually to be strong for it and to wait for it and protect what is true about and right for your future. But your human spirit can be convinced about what is true in the present because of its Scriptural bases, because of the principle of it and it can be convinced about things based on how right they are traditionally and culturally, yet with all the conviction and support you have behind it, this could be something that is temporal for you to be doing, it could be something that would be short-lived and that might not be there in the future. Because your human spirit though truthful to you and to your conscience, only has temporal discernment on its own and is NOT OMNISCIENT. This means your own spirit might overstretch things and be presumptuous at times about what the will of God is, if you don't know how to yield to or hear from the Holy Spirit. Because, even the Scriptures that you stand upon and might be quoting as the Holy Spirit as its Author (you cannot quote scriptures to overrule His leading), the Holy Spirit inspires and guides you around specifics within the will and purpose of God for our life. It is only the Holy Spirit that has and that can access the accurate and eternal plan of God for you, to give you peace on earth and to help you fulfill your spiritual destiny in Christ in this world. 

1 Cor. 2:9-11, “But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,Nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him" But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit (the Holy Spirit). For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things (will, plan and purpose) of God except the Spirit of God'

When you feed your spirit man to be strong in and through what is being revealed to you by the Holy Spirit, your spirit will be able to give you the mental, moral and emotional support for the future you should be creating, be entering into or should be waiting for. Because God doesn't deal with your soul directly, but with your spirit, so that your spirit being divinely empowered should become a strong pillar for your soul, by spiritual structure and godly discernment.

This means you need a healthy relationship with the Holy Spirit to walk in the will of God and to creating your authentic future or enter it.

Rom. 8:14, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God"

Conviction is about the parameters of life and lifestyle that your spirit man gives your conscience peace about. While the revelation, light and guidance are imparted by the Holy Spirit, but most times they come with the power to live them by creating or releasing in us a new strength that increases our conviction. So, conviction can be treated as A-Part of spiritual truth held by our spirit for us to live by. While revelation from the Holy Spirit is either an On-going light that keeps illuminating our path, or a Specific light for clarity on a particular direction that we need to be taking our life and operation.

Proverbs 4:18 "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day"

YOU CANNOT PRAY TO JESUS IN THE NAME OF JESUS

It does not have any spiritual meaning. This could be why most prayers are not answered. You cannot ask or pray to Jesus in the name of Jesus. Stop praying such prayers: "Jesus I come to you in the name of Jesus" You can only pray to the Father in the name of Jesus. What does it mean to pray in the name of Jesus? Praying in Jesus' name means praying with His authority. It is making a demand in His stead (place); as if He is the one making it. Authority means delegated power. You cannot exercise an authority on the same person that gave it to you. Look at it this way, you cannot go to the President of your country to make a demand in the name of that President rather you can go to another President in the name of your own President. WHY DIDN'T JESUS TURN THE STONES INTO BREAD?

What the Devil asked of Jesus in Matthew 4:3 was something moral and there is nothing in God's law that says it would be wrong to create a meal from stones. So why didn't he turn the stone into bread? GOD MADE ADAM BOTH MALE AND FEMALE.

This should be obvious but it seems a lot of people are having problem with it. God made Adam male and female. In other words, when Adam was first created he was both male and female. For people that are finding it hard to accept this is what the bible says: (Genesis 1:27 KJV) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 5:2 KJV) Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam , in the day when they were created. The first scripture in using the term "them" still seem to suggest that it was talking about both Adam and Eve and not only Adam at first. However the accounts in Matthew chapter 19 and Mark chapter 10 will give more insight. Sometimes in our lives we ask ourselves, “If God really loves us, why can’t He go ahead and bless us. After all He knows what is good for us”. Often, when I speak on healing and prosperity, people will ask me about Job. They'll question me, "If healing and prosperity belongs to us, why did Job suffer sickness and poverty?" There is so much misunderstanding in the Church today regarding the gift of prophecy. Many people believe that prophecy only refers to telling something before it happens. However, even in the Old Testament, the messages of the prophets contained as much, if not more, about the present than they did about the future. In Hebrew, the word translated prophecy is based on the word stem nābā, which simply means “to speak by divine inspiration, either in prediction or simple discourse.”  “ Prophecies ” is transliterated (i.e. brought straight over from Greek to English) from the noun  prophēteia . WHY IS JESUS NAMED JESUS AND NOT EMMANUEL AS PROPHESIED BY ISAIAH?

It was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14 that a virgin will give birth to a child and the child will be named Immanuel, meaning "God with us".  (Isaiah 7:14 KJV) Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Matthew in narrating the birth of Jesus stated that the prophesy in Isaiah 7:14 was fulfilled by the birth of Jesus. ( Matthew 1:21-23 KJV) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
