POWER OF THE WORD: THERE IS NEITHER GOOD NOR BAD LUCK IN THE UNIVERSE.
Sometimes in our lives we ask ourselves, “If God really loves us, why can’t He go ahead and bless us. After all He knows what is good for us”.
This is the question I also asked until I began to understand this principle I am putting down in writing.
There is neither good nor bad luck in the universe. There is law and order. God is not impartial in distribution of blessings. There are laws that must be followed. The Bible says that they that worship (follow) God must worship (follow) Him in spirit and in Truth (Spiritual Laws or Word of God) for the Father seeks such to worship Him (John4: 24).
What is Spiritual Law?
Now spiritual law is the Word of God. You and I and all other human beings are each an individual Word of God. We are either blessing or cursing by the Power of the Word we use. Death and Life are in the power of the words we use. We can be taken forward or held back by words, desires, thoughts, acts, and emotions.
Jesus said, “By your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned (Matthew 12:37). I will condemn you out of your own mouth”(Luke 19: 22). Please understand this, ‘This is a moral universe. It is run by law and order’. None of us can harm the universe. We can harm others who are in tune with us, on our level, and do not know how to protect themselves. We can and do harm ourselves even unto death. We are always setting traps for ourselves by our very word, when our purpose is wrong. Not because the power of the word itself turns against us. It cannot. The Power is a power, an intelligent force not a person. But we ourselves set it into motion to hurt us.
Is God then impartial? God said, He’s no respecter of persons. He will deal with us under the same conditions or set laws. Man is free to use his power to kill himself or to grow to heights of which we do not now dream.
The Bible tells us that we come to earth filled with a power we can’t turn off. It is this power which resides in us as Self or the Word of God. We cannot be reminded of this simple fact too often; it is in our very own mouth. It is called the Power of Decree. We do not have to create the power or beg for the privilege of using it. It is, and it is ours, right now. We use it every time we think or speak, that is every time we speak, we turn on the power in our word or Self, which is God’s power honouring our human spoken decree.
Fear, sin, sickness, suffering and poverty are results of a guilty or innocent wrong use of the Power of Decree. Happiness, success, good health, joy, peace, prosperity, abundance, and all other obtained good desires are the result of an unconscious or deliberate, well-planned, and carried out right use of the Power of Decree.
Meanwhile there are many forms of decree. Fear, silence, which gives consent, love, cursing and blessing are all forms of decree.
Fear for example is a forceful way of saying “Let there be” as Job so painfully discovered. The hidden sense of guilt produces fear. Fear is faith in reverse. We may hide the fear from others, and bluster it out for ourselves but the law works and what we fear comes upon us.
Hate is a powerful way of saying, “Let there be”.
The Bible also tells us that, Picturing (Every thought) is a powerful way of saying, “Let there be”. This is a form Solomon knew and used successfully. Every thought is a step in a journey towards what we want and what we do not want. “As he (man) thinketh in his heart so is he,” and so does he eventually becomes. Learn to “Keep your heart with all vigilance; from it flows the springs of life (Proverbs 4: 23).
All around me I see those spiritual infants who are actually talking themselves and others to death. Stop and listen in any group, and you will hear people talking about what they do not want in their lives or the lives of their loved ones. But the law says they will be both condemned and justified by their words.

Interesting
ReplyDeletePlease sir i need more clarification on this, thank you.
ReplyDeleteGozie, let me define some of the terms already used and point up others which will help you have better understanding.
Delete1) Word of God: You and I and all other human beings are each an individual Word of God (also termed Son of God).
2) Power of the Word: By virtue of being a Word of God made in His image and likeness, we have some of the nature of our creator. God created by the process of desire and decree. We too have the power to create by the same process. We have the power to create by saying, “Let there be!”
3) Nature of the Power of the Word: It is creative.
4) The key of using the Power is faith. “According to your faith be it done to you”. It is also the key to the use of all spiritual laws.
5) Place of the Power of the Word: The Power itself resides in God or His set laws or His will. But man’s use of it was established for him and in him from the foundation of the world”. It has being delegated to man under spiritual law much as authority is delegated to an individual by power of attorney in man-made law.
6) How the Power works: No one knows. We can only observe that it does works. We must never try to tell the Power how to get what we want.
