WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT THE WOMAN IS A HELP MEET?

In Genesis chapter 2:18 God said he will make for Adam a help meet for him. What does that statement mean?

(Genesis 2:18 KJV) And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Meet in this context is an adjective that means "suitable". What that scripture is saying is that God created a "help" for Adam and this helper was "meet" (suitable, fit, proper) for Him.

    Please sir, does it mean that some men don't need a help meet? i want to know why Apostle Paul supported celibacy for the servant of God, if women are really a help meet.

    A woman was created to be a helper suitable for a particular man. It is the duty of the man to find that one that is suitable/ proper for him. A man may decide that he does not need a helper but that does not mean that God did not create suitable one for him. It is his choice not to need a helper.

    There is no evidence from the bible that Apostle Paul supported celibacy. In 1 Timothy 3:2 he said for you to be a bishop you must be a husband of one wife. In 1 Cor 7:8-9, he said that the unmarried and widows can marry if they cannot exercise self control. This same scripture shows that he encouraged marriage but chose not to marry.

MEDITATION: THE BIBLE WAY OF MEDITATING

The concept of meditation has been mostly appropriated to other religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism and other eastern religions. Sadly, some Christians today have never practiced meditation the bible way, and typically when you ask some believers how many of them meditate on a regular basis, the answer is only a few.  There are many forms of meditations encompassing practices from different traditions, cultures, spiritual disciplines, and religions which are not in line with the concept of biblical meditation. Some of them include: Silent meditation which involves simply sitting in quiet without thoughts for anything. Calming meditation which involves focusing on a particular object which could be your breath, a mantra, a visualization without focus on God and His Word . A CHRISTIAN DOES NOT NEED DELIVERANCE.

As a Christian, you need to first understand your position in the spiritual realm. That will tell you whether you need deliverance or not from any authority. Let's look at the following scriptures: (Ephesians 2:6 KJV) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: The above verse shows that you are seated with Christ Jesus in the heavenly places. Where exactly is Christ Jesus seated in these heavenly places. BUYING AND SELLING IN CHURCH

Matthew, Mark and Luke record one instance of Jesus clearing out the temple. Then John Chapter 2 records a different instance where Jesus clears out the temple. This is something that he did twice and the thing about that is when something is recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, it must be pretty important to get that kind of emphasis where all four gospels deal with it. THE EYE OF THE NEEDLE

(Mark 10:25 KJV) It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle , than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.  Have you ever heard the teaching that the "eye of the needle" as used by our Lord Jesus Christ in the above verse is a small gate on the Jerusalem wall, besides the main gate, by which a camel can go through (not without difficulties though) if it is made to stoop and pushed through the gate with all its baggage removed? Most of those that offer this teaching believe that this statement of Jesus Christ concerning the rich man is exaggerated, hence they try to provide the above explanation to soften it down.  Well, there is no widely accepted evidence for the existence of such a small gate.  The statement of Jesus is rather a proverbial expression denoting something that is impossible for humans or very difficult. FACTS ABOUT CHRISTMAS

GOD MADE ADAM BOTH MALE AND FEMALE.

This should be obvious but it seems a lot of people are having problem with it. God made Adam male and female. In other words, when Adam was first created he was both male and female. For people that are finding it hard to accept this is what the bible says: (Genesis 1:27 KJV) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 5:2 KJV) Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam , in the day when they were created. The first scripture in using the term "them" still seem to suggest that it was talking about both Adam and Eve and not only Adam at first. However the accounts in Matthew chapter 19 and Mark chapter 10 will give more insight.
