MOSES WAS NOT A JEW

Here's the thing. All Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews (Exodus 2:1-10). 

Moses was an Israelite, but he was born of the tribe of Levi, not of Judah. 

The original name for the Israelites was Hebrews. The Word comes from the word "eyver" which refers to "the other side" referring to the fact that Abraham came from the other side of the Euphrates.

The word "Jew" is derived from the Name Judah.

Today, the word "Jew" is used to refer to all of the physical and spiritual descendants of Jacob and the word "Judaism" is used to refer to their beliefs. Technically, this usage is inaccurate.

    True. I suspect the reason people keep conflating these terms is purely political.

    also one of the consequences of this truth is that Christianity is actually an older religion than Judaism.

THE REASON JESUS WENT TO THE DESERT FOR 40 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYING.

Why did Jesus go into the desert for 40 days fasting, praying, and being tested by the devil (Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13)? A few Old Testament texts might shed light as to why.  The two most prominent persons in the Old Testament and in the Jewish faith are Moses and Elijah. Moses led the exodus (Israel’s escape from slavery in Egypt), and it was through Moses that God gave his law or Torah to his people. Many people are often unsure what sin is in the New Testament. The lack of clarity is because there are certain life events/ actions that do not have direct examples in the Bible for which they can reference to. EVIDENCE THAT THE SIX DAYS ACCOUNT OF GENESIS IS THAT OF RESTORATION NOT ORIGINAL CREATION

The Bible shows that only Genesis 1:1 gives the account of the original creation. Here, God created a perfect world. However, in Genesis 1:2, something happened to the perfect earth which caused it to become formless and void. From Genesis 1:3, the Bible describes the restoration of the earth to its perfection earth. It is not describing the original creation. Here is the evidence that the six days account of Genesis chapter 1 from verse 3 is that of restoration of the earth and not the original creation: It is a fact that dry land must have been created before the waters, or there would have been no place to hold the waters. JESUS SAID YOU MUST BE “BORN FROM ABOVE” NOT "BORN AGAIN"?

The term " Born Again Christian " is used to describe anyone that has received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Saviour. One who believes in Jesus Christ and one who has been regenerated through the agent of the Holy Spirit. The phrase "born again" can be seen in John chapter 3 in King James Version (KJV) and most other English Bible Versions.
