DO CHRISTIANS WORSHIP THREE GODS?

When Christians worship God (the Father), Jesus (God the Son) and the Holy Spirit (God the Spirit), non Believers accuse them of worshipping three Gods. Are they right in this accusation? Do Christians worship three Gods? What does the Bible say?

The Bible says the Lord our God is one. In other words, there is only one true God. This is the same God that Christians worship.

(Deuteronomy 6:4 AMP) “Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one [the only God]!

The Bible also tells us through the words of Jesus, that God is invisible and that God desires that those that worship Him must worship Him in His invisible [Spirit] state as well as in His visible [reality] state, which the Bible called truth.

(John 4:23 NLT) But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.

(John 4:24 AMP) God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

This tells us that this one-God, does exist in an invisible state and visible state. He exists in these two states yet He is still one God. Think about it like water (H2O) which can exist in three states; as solid (ice), liquid (water) and gaseous (steam). Irrespective of the state, it is still the same water (H2O). By inference, irrespective of the state of God, He is still God. Jesus said, that which is born of God [Spirit] is God [Spirit].

(John 3:6 KJV) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Just like water can be liquid, ice and steam at the same time at an equilibrium called the triple point, God does exist at invisible and visible state at the same time. God does exist as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit at the same time.

Just like air (CO2 and several other substances) can be liquid, ice and steam at the same time at an equilibrium called the triple point, God does exist in all three Persons at the same time. He is God, there in nothing impossible with Him.

Now, in the invisible state of God, no one has even seen Him except [the visible] God.

(John 1:18 Aramaic Bible) No man has seen God at any time; The Only Begotten God Who is in the bosom of The Father, he has declared him.”

In His visible state, we see Him as Jesus Christ whom He proclaimed to be His Son.

(John 1:1 KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

(John 1:14 KJV) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

We also do not see the Holy Spirit but we see His manifestations. He is now the Spirit of God and Christ and dwells in Believers.

(Romans 8:9 KJV) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

So, Christians worship one God in all His states. They worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
