WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MAN AFTER GOD'S HEART?

The Scriptures refer to King David as a man after God's own heart. This can be found in 1Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22: 

1 Samuel 13:14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee. 

Acts 13:22 says, “After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.” 

In both Scriptures the exact meanings of the Greek and Hebrew prepositions (le and kata respectively) are pretty broad, however, the context makes it clear that the meaning was basically "a man who seeks the same goals and desires that I have."

WHO TOLD YOU THAT A WHALE SWALLOWED JONAH?

Do you remember the story of Jonah in the bible? We were thought that due to his disobedience to God that the Lord allowed a whale to swallow him. Well, the bible never mentioned that it was a whale that swallowed him. The Bible says that God “prepared a great fish” (Jonah_ 1:17). In the language of Jonah’s day, “great fish” could mean any large creature of the sea. In fact the Hebrew word used was the normal word for "fish". So we do not know exactly if it was a whale, an enormous shark, or some now-extinct animal that swallowed him.

NO ONE WILL EVER SEE THE FACE OF GOD THE FATHER

WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT THE WOMAN IS A HELP MEET?

In Genesis chapter 2:18 God said he will make for Adam a help meet for him. What does that statement mean? (Genesis 2:18 KJV) And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Meet in this context is an adjective that means "suitable". What that scripture is saying is that God created a "help" for Adam and this helper was "meet" ( suitable, fit, proper ) for Him.

Jesus said in Matthew 19:30, “But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first”. Thereafter He immediately gave a parable of the labourers in the vineyard in Matthew 20:1-15 and reiterated this statement in Matthew 20:16 at the end of the parable. Many Scholars have given several interpretations to the meaning of this statement. However, the most accurate interpretation should be from the parable as the parable was designed to explain it. The story is about some labourers who complain that others, who did not work as long as they, were paid an equal amount. WHY DID GOD REFER TO ISAAC AS ABRAHAM’S ONLY SON? WHAT HAPPENED TO ISHMAEL?

Abraham had two sons, the one by Sarah (a freewoman) and the other by Hagar (a bondwoman). However, we see in Genesis chapter 22 that in three different occasions, God referred to Isaac as the only son of Abraham, in total disregard of Ishmael as a son. So, in what sense is Isaac the only Son of Abraham? (Genesis 22:2 KJV) And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. (Genesis 22:12 KJV) And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
