WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MAN AFTER GOD'S HEART?

The Scriptures refer to King David as a man after God's own heart. This can be found in 1Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22: 

1 Samuel 13:14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee. 

Acts 13:22 says, “After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.” 

In both Scriptures the exact meanings of the Greek and Hebrew prepositions (le and kata respectively) are pretty broad, however, the context makes it clear that the meaning was basically "a man who seeks the same goals and desires that I have."

One of the famous stories in the Bible is this story that was recorded in the book of 2 Kings chapter 3. IS PLEADING THE BLOOD OF JESUS BIBLICAL?

Those who “plead the blood” often do so as if there were something magical in those words or as if by using them their prayer is somehow more powerful. THE EYE OF THE NEEDLE

(Mark 10:25 KJV) It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle , than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.  Have you ever heard the teaching that the "eye of the needle" as used by our Lord Jesus Christ in the above verse is a small gate on the Jerusalem wall, besides the main gate, by which a camel can go through (not without difficulties though) if it is made to stoop and pushed through the gate with all its baggage removed? Most of those that offer this teaching believe that this statement of Jesus Christ concerning the rich man is exaggerated, hence they try to provide the above explanation to soften it down.  Well, there is no widely accepted evidence for the existence of such a small gate.  The statement of Jesus is rather a proverbial expression denoting something that is impossible for humans or very difficult. DID JESUS RISE AS THE WEEKLY SABBATH WAS ENDING OR AT SUNRISE ON SUNDAY?

You'll notice through a comparison of the four gospels that Mary Magdalene and the disciples went to the tomb a number of times. In some it was still dark, and in some it was already light. It wasn't until it was light on Sunday that they actually discovered that He had risen, in the first visits the tomb was empty. John 20:1-2 Now in the first of the week, Miryam Magdalitha (Mary Magdalene) came to the tomb in the very early morning while it was still dark. And she saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb. And she ran and she came to Shimon Kaypha (Simon Peter) and to that other disciple whom Yeshua (Jesus) had loved, and she said to them, "They have taken away our Lord from the tomb, and I don't know where they have laid Him." JESUS CALLED HIMSELF THE "SON OF MAN". WHY CALL HIM THE "SON OF GOD"?

To begin, a word study of the term “ son of…” indicates that it can mean “ of the order of ” in certain contexts. The phrase is often used in this way in the Old Testament. For example, “sons of the prophets” meant “of the order of prophets” (1 Kings 20:35). “Sons of the singers” meant “of the order of singers” (Nehemiah 12:28 KJV). In the Old Testament, the bible used the phrase, " Son of Man" to refer to humanity (i.e. "of the order of humans") . In the Gospels, Jesus refers to Himself as “the Son of Man” (in third person) 77 times. The Son of Man is a title that he used exclusively in the New Testament. His disciples never addressed Him as such. Jesus used it to emphasize His humanity.  It is also a designation of the Messiah . IN ISAIAH 59:19, IT IS NOT THE ENEMY THAT COMES IN LIKE A FLOOD.

Most of us are familiar with this portion of the scripture:  (Isaiah 59:19 KJV)   “…… When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him . The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible seems to suggest that it is the enemy that will come in like a flood. Well the enemy is not the one that will come in like a flood rather it is the Lord that comes in like a flood (a rushing stream). The translators of King James Version of the Bible departed from the ancient versions which resulted in the misconception. The Amplified Version of the Bible puts it better: Isaiah 59:19 (AMP): So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun. For He will come in like a narrow, rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives [overwhelming the enemy] In other words, He (Jehovah) shall come like a rushing stream which the breath of Jehovah (i.e., a strong and mighty wind) drives. (John 9:2 KJV) And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? There are some people who tried to read reincarnation into the above verse. They say that the only way the man could have sinned before his birth was for him to have lived a previous life in another body, (i.e through reincarnation). However, you need to understand that reincarnation was not behind the disciples' question. Rather, behind this question was the assumption of those days, that a child could sin in the womb. HE IS NOT GOD OF THE DEAD BUT OF THE LIVING. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Some Christians often quote the bible phrase " God is not the God of the dead, but of the living: for all live into him " as proof that people never really die, but rather their "soul" continues to live on after death. JACOB DID NOT WAIT FOR 7 OR 14 YEARS BEFORE LEAH/ RACHEL WERE GIVEN TO HIM. HE TOOK BOTH WIVES IMMEDIATELY.

Many Christians thought that Jacob worked seven years for Laban, realized that Laban deceived him to marry Leah, and then worked seven more years before finally getting married to Rachel. However the bible shows that he took both Leah and Rachel immediately before he began serving Laban. For clarity, I advise you to read this Jacob's story in other translations of the Bible aside King James Version (KJV). Meanwhile lets look at look at some of the facts from the Bible: (Genesis 29:21 KJV) And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her. Please note that the 7 years of service required of Jacob were the total dowry and not the customary waiting period before a wife was given to the groom.
