JESUS PRAYED THAT THE DISCIPLES SHOULD NOT BE RAPTURED

Image
Before Jesus was crucified, He prayed an amazing prayer for all of His followers (present and future), and the words of His prayer go against the very idea of a rapture. (John 17:14-17) “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I DO NOT PRAY THAT YOU SHOULD TAKE THEM OUT OF THE WORLD, BUT THAT YOU SHOULD KEEP THEM FROM THE EVIL ONE. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”  Did you catch that? Jesus was opposed to the idea of a rapture. His prayer was that we would remain in the world, and that we would be separate from the world, being sanctified by the truth of God’s Word. This is very similar to the parable He told about the wheat and the tares, in which the owner instructed the servants to let the wheat and tares grow together until the harvest. (Matthew 13:30) “Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I

DO CHRISTIANS WORSHIP THREE GODS?

Image
When Christians worship God (the Father), Jesus (God the Son) and the Holy Spirit (God the Spirit), non Believers accuse them of worshipping three Gods. Are they right in this accusation? Do Christians worship three Gods? What does the Bible say? The Bible says the Lord our God is one. In other words, there is only one true God. This is the same God that Christians worship. (Deuteronomy 6:4 AMP) “Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one [the only God]! The Bible also tells us through the words of Jesus, that God is invisible and that God desires that those that worship Him must worship Him in His invisible [Spirit] state as well as in His visible [reality] state, which the Bible called truth. (John 4:23 NLT) But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. (John 4:24 AMP) God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who wo

WHO SHOULD WE PRAY TO? THE FATHER OR THE SON OR THE HOLY SPIRIT?

The answer to this question, "who should we pray to" should be straightforward after a study of the Bible. Yet a lot of Christians are still not certain who they should address their prayers to. While many pray to the Father, others pray to Jesus in the name of Jesus. Yet a few others pray to the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus. Should we only pray to the Father in the name of Jesus? Or is it appropriate to pray directly to Jesus? Is it appropriate to pray directly to the Holy Spirit? Is it appropriate to pray in the name of the Father? But you may say, does it really matter who we address our prayers to since it is answered anyway? Afterall, the three Persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are God and they all agree in one. Well, even though you have been receiving some answers to your prayers, the right knowledge of who you should address your prayers may be all you need to receive many more answered prayers. The Bible tells us that God overlooks our days of ignor
